STUDENT TRAVEL GRANT

Wireless Days 2016 is pleased to announce that students or young researchers from an IFIP member country may apply for travel grants. Young researchers are researchers at pre-doctoral level, with an age limit of 35 years the time of the conference. Preference will be given to those who would otherwise not have the resources to attend the conference.

Grants will cover travel and lodging expenses, up to a maximum of 750 € per grant: costs in excess of the grant will not be reimbursed. Please note that the conference registration fee will not be covered by the grant.

An application should consist of:

  •  one-page student's CV;
  •  a letter from the student, explaining why you believe that attending the conference will beneficial for both sides and indicating the applied amount;
  •  a letter from the student's advisor, describing your work and the benefit attending the conference will bring to that work;
  •  a filled IFIP TC6 Student Travel Grant Application form.

E-mail applications are encouraged and should be sent to Khaled Boussetta (khaled.boussetta@univ-paris13.fr). Applications are due February 23rd, 2016. The committee decisions will be annouced during the conference.
